Scouting Report
Assets: His nasty sinker kept the ball on the ground consistently, so he was able to induce a great number of groundball outs per outing. Was a reliable work-horse starter who could lead a pitching staff.
Flaws: Wasn't great at putting hitters away when he was ahead in the count, so he had a tendency to surrender too many hits. Left-handed hitters could also thrive against him. Injuries were a factor here.
Career Potential: Solid starter and sinkerball specialist, when healthy.
