Boasts a great glove for the shortstop position, plus good base-stealing speed. A decent contact hitter, he can also draw a few walks. Switch-hits, too, which adds to his overall value.
Doesn't have much power to speak of, so he is somewhat limited at the dish. Also lacks consistency in terms of batting average, which makes him a risky proposition as an everyday player.
Slick, speedy shortstop with some upside.

Adrianza 'most impressive guy in camp | 03/03/2014 6:39 PM
Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Monday that Ehire Adrianza has been "the most impressive guy in camp."
Adrianza has a home run, a triple and four RBI over three Cactus League game so far. With Marco Scutaro (back) banged up, the 24-year-old should continue to get looks at second base as well as other infield positions. He could wind up making the Opening Day roster as a utility player, but his career .248/.335/.344 batting line in the minors suggests that we shouldn't get our hopes up for too much production.
