Results of the MRI on Adrianza's hamstring aren't yet known, but obviously it's bad enough to where he'll need at least a couple weeks of down time. Juan Perez has taken Adrianza's spot on the roster.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Monday that Ehire Adrianza has been "the most impressive guy in camp."
Adrianza has a home run, a triple and four RBI over three Cactus League game so far. With Marco Scutaro (back) banged up, the 24-year-old should continue to get looks at second base as well as other infield positions. He could wind up making the Opening Day roster as a utility player, but his career .248/.335/.344 batting line in the minors suggests that we shouldn't get our hopes up for too much production.

Ehire Adrianza smacked his first major league home run in Sunday's win over the Yankees.
Adrianza's solo shot with one out in the sixth was the Giants' first hit of the game. They only wound up with four on the day, but they were able to scrap together enough offense to pull it out. Adrianza has three hits in 10 at-bats since his call-up earlier this month.
Giants recalled INF Ehire Adrianza from Triple-A Fresno.
Adrianza, 24, is considered one of the Giants' top position prospects and will be making his MLB debut when he enters a game. He batted .310/.409/.441 at the Triple-A level and should eventually push Brandon Crawford for playing time.
