Ravens ILB Arthur Brown is penciled in as a three-down player.
Jameel McClain has signed with the Giants and Josh Bynes projects as a situational player. It leaves Brown, who was mostly a nickel linebacker as a rookie, in a starting role next to Daryl Smith. Already a plus pass defender, Brown will now bring tackle upside into the season. The two-time All-Big 12 selection will be a breakout candidate in IDP circles.
ESPN's Vaughn McClure does not believe the Falcons are looking for a starting tight end in the draft.
McClure fully expects Levine Toilolo to get the opportunity to run with Tony Gonzalez's old job. However, he concedes that the passing offense will likely look different as the Falcons shift toward more three- and four-wide sets featuring Julio Jones, Roddy White and Harry Douglas. The slow-footed Toilolo (6'8/265) profiles as more of a red-zone threat than pass-catching tight end.
