Dwayne Bowe pleaded guilty to defective equipment and littering charges and paid a $610 fine to resolve the marijuana possession matter against him.
Kansas City Star
Bowe was popped for marijuana possession back in November. Since it was his first arrest for possession, he was allowed to pay a fine. Bowe should avoid a suspension but could wind up being placed in the substance-abuse program.
Jaguars re-signed exclusive rights free agent WR Mike Brown to a one-year, $495,000 contract.
Brown caught 32 balls for 446 yards and two touchdowns across 11 games and six starts last season. Ideally, he's nothing more than a No. 4 receiver. The Jaguars are a dark horse to snag Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans in the first round of next month's draft. Brown will have to compete for a roster spot this summer.
